Nestled on the edge of Exmoor and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Combe Martin Primary School offers a caring, nature-inspired learning environment for children aged 2 to 11.

We are looking to appoint a thoughtful and enthusiastic Early Years Mealtime Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll supervise and support our youngest learners in Nursery and Reception ensuring they enjoy safe, happy, and nourishing mealtimes.

Your responsibilities will include serving meals, encouraging good table manners and healthy choices, overseeing dining room routines, and assisting children with personal hygiene. You’ll be working alongside supportive colleagues who share a commitment to fostering each child’s development through creative, compassionate care.

This position is part-time and term-time only, a wonderful opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a small, community-focused school where every child is valued.
