Combe Martin Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small coastal school where children are at the heart of everything we do and where staff work closely together to ensure every pupil is supported to achieve their best.

The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers to support learning in the classroom, contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, and provide additional support for individual pupils or small groups as required. You will play an important role in helping children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning, both academically and socially.

We are looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents. Experience of working with primary-aged children is desirable, but we also welcome applications from individuals who are keen to learn and develop their skills within a supportive school environment. A positive attitude, good communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children are essential.
