We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Mealtime Assistant to join the team at Webbers COE Primary School.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a small, welcoming rural school community where every child is known, valued and encouraged to achieve their best. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that lunchtime is a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for all pupils, supporting their wellbeing, social development and independence.
This is an especially exciting time to join us as the school embarks on a new phase of development and improvement. We are committed to providing the very best educational experience for every child, with a strong focus on high expectations, inclusion and continuous improvement. As part of our ongoing journey, we are investing in opportunities that support both pupil achievement and staff development, helping everyone within our school community to thrive.
Webbers is a nurturing and inclusive school with three classes, where strong relationships between staff, pupils and families are at the heart of everything we do. Our small-school environment enables us to provide personalised support and create a warm, caring atmosphere in which children flourish.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and who can promote positive behaviour, encourage good manners and support pupils to develop confidence and independence during lunchtime. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, a strong team player and someone who shares our commitment to providing the very best experiences for every child.
In return, we can offer a friendly and supportive staff team, enthusiastic and well-behaved children, and the opportunity to contribute to an exciting period of growth and development within the school. We are committed to creating a positive working environment where collaboration, wellbeing and professional development are valued.
Visits to the school are warmly encouraged, and we would be delighted to show prospective applicants what makes Webbers such a special place to work and learn. To arrange a visit, please contact the school on 01823 672510.
Further information and application forms can be downloaded from Alumnis Careers. Completed applications should be sent to recruitment@alumnismat.org.
This post has been advertised across multiple platforms, and we reserve the right to interview and appoint before the closing date should a suitable candidate be identified. Early applications are therefore strongly encouraged.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Join us at an exciting stage in our school’s journey and become part of a community where you can make a genuine difference to the lives of children and families
